Reminder for Peter Walker’s Eagle Project

Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that I will be working at Camp Wabenaki tomorrow and Sunday from 10:00am-3:00pm.

  1. Start out going south on Still Rd/County Hwy-19 toward Lois Ln. Continue to follow County Hwy-19 Orange Turnpike.
  2. Turn right onto Route 17/NY-17. Go 1.0 m
  3. Take the NY-17A ramp. Go 0.2m
  4. Turn left onto County Hwy-106/County Highway 106. Go 1.8m [If you reach Route 17 you’ve gone about 0.1 miles too far]
  5. Turn left onto Wabenaki Rd. Go 0.8m [Wabenaki Rd. is 0.6 miles past Stahahe Rd. If you reach Island Pound Rd. you’ve gone about 0.5 miles too far.]
  6. 228 WABENAKI RD is on the right. [If you reach the end of Harriman Private Level Rd you’ve gone about 2.9 miles too far]

Peter Walker’s Eagle Project

Hello everyone,

This weekend (21st and 22nd) I will be working on my Eagle Project. We will be working from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. I am asking for about 10 scouts to come help me with my project. Please come, if possible.

For my project, I will be working at Camp Wabenaki in Southfields, NY. This is the camp where we did our fishing trip. I will be repairing a basketball court and will be building new boat racks at the lake in the camp. This will require some digging so please bring a shovel. The address to the camp will be provided below.

Alternate Route (I-80) To Rafting

Due to the construction traffic issues on I-84, here are alternate directions for our trip leaving from Monroe.

1. Continue onto NY-208 N.

2. Take the ramp onto NY-17 E/​US-6 E ( 0.2 mi )

3. Continue onto NY-17 E ( 3.0 mi)

4. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 87 S/​New York and merge onto I-87 S ( Partial toll road, 1.1 mi)

5. Take exit 15 for NY-17 S/​I-287 S toward New Jersey ( Partial toll road, 14.6 mi)

6. Merge onto I-287 S, entering New Jersey ( 0.8 mi)

7. Take exit 41B to merge ontoI-80 W, entering Pennsylvania (Partial toll road, 25.5 mi)

8. Take exit 304 to merge onto US-209 S toward PA-33 S/​Snydersville (49.5 mi )

9. Exit to stay on US-209  S toward Lehighton ( 6.6 mi)

10. Turn right onto E Bridge St (23.5 mi)

11. Turn right onto Bankway St (0.2 mi)

12. Continue onto Sgt Stanley Hoffman Blvd (495 ft)

13. Continue onto US-209 S/​N 1st St.
Continue to follow US-209 S (0.6 mi)

14. Turn left onto Broadway (3.1 mi)

15. Continue onto Lentz Trail. Destination will be on the left (1.9 mi)

UNO Fundraiser Troop 540

Hello all.

Our UNO fundraiser is on June 6, 7, and 8 at the Central Valley UNO. Please distribute as many flyers as possible. We are not able to stand immediately outside their doors but we can distribute to the local shoppers and of course our community. Our troop will receive 15% of the first $1,000 spent and then 20% afterwards.
