Mike Shea’s Eagle Project Saturday, August 16

Hi everybody.

I will be doing some work on my Eagle Project on Schunemunk Mountain on Saturday. We will be meeting at Dunkin Donuts near the Monroe Diner at 10 A.M. so that nobody gets lost on the way there. From there, we will drive to the trail entrance on Otterkill Rd. From there, we will hike about 2 miles into the site (it is not a strenuous hike). We will be painting wood preservative on the bridge and cleaning the site of any nails or screws that may have been left behind from the work. When finished, we will hike out, which should be around 2 P.M. Please bring a small snack or sandwich. Water will be provided. My father will have our van and we could transport 5 scouts if anybody needs to be dropped off at Dunkin Donuts. Please respond if you are available to help.

Thank you.

Mike Shea
