Troop 540,
We need to start locking in the trip to Gettysburg. For those families that just joined the troop, we have planned a trip to Gettysburg from August 21-23, 2015.
If there are any scouts that would like to go on the trip but don’t think they can afford to go, please email me immediately but do not include the troop on the email and let me know if you’re interested.
These are the following families that have already booked their hotel:
- Buckley
- Crown
- D’Amelio
- Ellis
- Hess
- Hoyt
- Kohrs
- Nebrasky
- Nowosielski
- Struhar
- Wolownik
There are seven rooms left. The first seven families to book the room, get the room. Here are the details on how to book the room:
This will be a family trip, so the scouts, parents and siblings are invited as well.
Hotel: Quality Inn Gettysburg Battlefield
Rooms booked: 8 doubles @ $162/night, 10 triples @ $182/night; 11% tax not included

You need to call 717-334-1103 and give the confirmation number #BSA540082115 to book your own room. The first 7 families to call are guaranteed to get their room.
Just to clarify the doubles have 2 queen beds and can sleep 4 and the triples have 3 beds and can sleep 6.
Mr. Nebrasky also needs the amount of people in your family going on the trip. If you have any questions about the trip please call him 914-447-4442 or email him at paul@nebraskyplumbing.com.
I also need the families to sign up for the following events while we’re down at Gettysburg, if you’re interested. This is NOT mandatory but Mr. Nebrasky needs to make reservations and will need to give them a head count for all of these events.
