Ranachqua Merit Badge Sign-ups Update

Just to give you all an update, some of the merit badges require prior work before you get to camp. That is why when you look at the prerequisite list you see numbers associated with certain merit badges. To find the details of those requirements for those merit badges, Google search that merit badge and its requirements. For example, if you do a search for “family life merit badge requirements” and you click on the details of the requirements, it will tell the scout that they have to do a chores chart for a number of weeks. If there is a merit badge that your child is interested in and it has associated numbers listed for the prerequisites, you should look at the details and do the work prior to camp.

Summer Camp Update

All: We have settled in and everyone has made it through the first night. We have had good weather and all the Scouts are busy earning merit badges. We are scheduled for our high COPE( obstacle course) on Wednesday at 7pm. I’m expecting Myself, Mike Shea and Ron Buckley to be at camp to help transport. I will let everyone know if we need more help in transportation. Hope all is well in Monroe. Talk to you soon.
