Outstanding Wreath Money

If you have not handed in your wreath money, please do so at tomorrow’s meeting. We would like to start crediting accounts and we can not do this without collecting all the money. If there are any questions please let me know.

Meeting Tomorrow

Troop 540,

We will be meeting tomorrow night at The Knights of Columbus Hall.

The Green Bar Meeting starts at 7:00pm. Leaders, please be prepared to hand in your final drawings for the trailer.

The general meeting starts at 7:30pm. We will be handing out food assignments for the camping trip this weekend. We will also have the younger scouts practice setting up the tent.

Merit badge counselors can work on their merit badges with their scouts.

The parents that said they could help out with picking up the wreaths, they will ready to be picked up and handed out for the meeting next week. 25 dozen wreaths and supplies for decorating have been ordered and paid for. They just need to be picked up now.

Wreath Sale Update

Troop 540,

Again, the troop would like to get a head count by Tuesday, on how many wreaths you would like to sell for the holiday fundraiser. Each scout is expected to sell at least 3 wreaths. Anything over three wreaths will go directly into your scout account. Another option could be that you forego selling the wreaths and just make a donation of $21 per scout.

Please get back to me by this Tuesday at the court of honor with how many wreaths you would like to sell or if you are just going to donate the $21 per scout.

If your name is bold, you still need to reply with your answer.

November Calendar

Troop 540,

I just want to post all of the events for the month of November. There are two nights this month, where North Main will be closed for Veteran’s Day (11/11) and for Parent/Teacher Conferences (11/18).

Here are the upcoming events for November as follows:

Saturday, November 1st – “Stuff the Bus” community service at Sacred Heart, from 5:15-6:45pm
Sunday, November 2nd – “Stuff the Bus” community service at Sacred Heart, from 7:45-9:15 or 9:45-11:15am or 11:45am-1:15pm or 5:45-7:15pm
Tuesday, November 4th – Green bar meeting from 7-7:30pm and Troop meeting from 7:30-9pm at North Main
Tuesday, November 11th – Green bar meeting from 7-7:30pm and Troop meeting from 7:30-9pm, tentative for K of C
Tuesday, November 18th – Green bar meeting from 7-7:30pm and Troop meeting from 7:30-9pm, tentative for K of C
Friday, November 21st – Deadline to let me know if you are going on the indoor rock climbing trip in Albany, NY on Friday, February 20th to the 21st.
Friday, November 21st – Sunday, November 23rd – Camping at Bullowa in the Mohawk Site…I will be at this trip for the entire weekend. I will need at least one other leader or adult volunteer
Saturday, November 22nd, Wreath Sale at the K of C from 12-5pm
Tuesday, November 25th – Green bar meeting from 7-7:30pm and Troop meeting from 7:30-9pm at North Main

We have decided that since the Gettysburg trip is a family trip, we will book hotels and not stay in tents. Mr. Nebrasky is working on locking in a hotel. It just so happens that there is a major soccer tournament on the same weekend as our trip. We will be asking the families to book the hotel that we will be blocking rooms for VERY SOON. Stay tuned for more details.
